What to write about
- A correction. If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or missing a source, please tell us. Guidance changes and we would rather fix a post than leave it standing. Corrections go to the front of the queue.
- A question we have not covered. If you searched for something at 3am and could not find a straight answer, that is exactly the kind of thing we want to write about. We cannot answer questions about your own child, but we can find out what the official guidance says and write it up for everyone.
- Working together. Partnerships, permissions, and press.
What we cannot do
We cannot give medical advice, and we cannot answer questions about your baby. NewBloom is not written by doctors, nurses or midwives. We read official guidance and write it down, which is a different job entirely.
If you are worried about your child, your paediatrician, midwife or health visitor is the right person to ask. They can see your baby and we cannot.
If something is wrong right now, contact your doctor or your local emergency number rather than emailing us.
